Stop Animal Abuse Being Shown on Facebook

Facebook needs to do two things.

Firstly it needs to carefully monitor the content that's put on its site.

Secondly its algorithms need to change. Just because I like animals does not mean I want to see them being abused.

Thirdly it needs to take reports seriously. I have seen numerous videos of primates being abused. They were all shocking, but the last one sticks in my mind; I saw a small baby primate being chewed on like a toy by a dog. I have reported every video to Facebook and for every video, including that one, they have come back to me a day or two later and said "We've taken a look and this doesn't go against our community standards". If you took a look and decided that, Facebook, then you don't have any standards.

Why is this important?

Giving a platform to animal abuse as Facebook is doing is going to encourage it.
