Stop closure of 3000 independent pharmacies
On 17th December the Department of Health wrote to PSNC to impose a 6% cut in pharmacy funding. Pharmacy provides a crucial network, highly valued by patients, that makes huge differences to their health. NHS services are under strain and pharmacy can only help if the network is secure and strong.
If this goes ahead then a lot of people are going to suffer, mainly toddlers, disabled persons, pregnant women and pensioners.

Why is this important?
As an apolitical pensioner, I suffer from diabetes and a neighbour suffers friom acute anxiety. Our local small independent chemist is one of those that will have to close if this GovernMENTAL scheme is finalized
