Stop discrimination against blind and partially sighted film viewers

Enact legislation to force large online movie streaming companies such as lovefilm, netflix and sky to offer audio description and make their services available to the blind and partially sighted community.

Why is this important?

At the moment, the 3 large online movie streaming companies (sky, netflix and lovefilm), which hold an affective oligopoly on the online film streaming market, do not offer audio description as part of their online services. This is important as it is stopping blind and partially sighted people watching films on demand instantly with their families: a service available to the able-bodied market.
