Stop our MPs drinking alcohol in the Houses of Parliament

MPs should not be debating or voting in the Houses of Parliment under the influence of alcohol

Why is this important?

There are several bars within the Houses of Parliment, should our MPs be debating and making decisions on our behalf if they have had an alcoholic drink? After all they are at work, studies show that even small amounts of alcohol can influence us negatively, we wouldn’t want our GP, pilot, or any other professional person serving us after being to a bar, so how is it any different for MPs?
