Ban pheasant pen rearing in Ancient Woodland.If they must have rearing Pens have them in secondary woodland or Plantations.

Rearing pens destroy the ground flora and at the same time enrich the soil
making it to fertile for native woodland indicators

Why is this important?

Bringing in extra food for the birds adds to the problem
destroying the biodiversity of woodland and making it virtually impossible
for the ground flora to return
