Defenceless animals are subjected to an agonising death in order to produce their fur trims and down-feather fillers. There is cruelty in every stitch. Wild coyotes are trapped for their fur and left for days while facing blood loss, shock, dehydration, frostbite, gangrene and attacks by predators. Mothers desperate to get back to their young have been known to chew through their own limbs in an attempt to escape. Animals who haven't already died are often strangled, stamped on, or bludgeoned to death when the trapper returns.
Ducks and geese also suffer for these items. They are violently killed and their throats are often slit while they're still conscious and able to feel pain.
