To: Driving Vehicle Licencing Agency

stop the DVLA charging on both cars for month of new purchase.

When a new car is bought or part exchanged, the DVLA charge a full month's road tax for your old car and your new car. This means you pay double, when you only actually own one car!
This means they make a fortune charging double tax at the cost of the British public.
I want the DVLA to adjust their website and fee charging policy so that you pay your road tax during the month of sale on a daily pro-rata'd rate. This would be fair and save paying twice.

Why is this important?

As drivers/riders we pay our road tax by law and without failure. New computer systems ensure this and rightly so. These same clever computer programs could easily be adjusted to offer this fairer system and stop us having to pay double.
