STOP THE PAY CUT FOR G4S COVID WORKERS
G4S has awarded frontline COVID testers employed outside of London a 5% pay cut.
Since thousands of operatives working at mobile test sites across the UK are required to travel long distances at their own expense, the current rate of pay (£9.50 per hour) equates to less than the minimum wage.
Our request is simple: respect the important work we do, reinstate our previous hourly rate, and consult us about the pay that our work truly deserves.

Why is this important?
Mobile testers work at the sharp end of the NHS Test and Trace service. Rain or shine, we expose ourselves to symptomatic members of the public, doing our best to curb the transmission of COVID-19.
G4S's decision to reduce our pay is a cynical cost-cutting exercise. Please support our demands for a fair day's pay.
