Stop unnecessary non recyclable food packaging by Sainsburys

Sainsburys by selling the majority of your fruit, vegetables, meat etc in cellophane, polystyrene, plastic etc. you are majorly contributing to world pollution and to the constant problems of how to dispose of it all. We do not need to buy broccoli on a tray wrapped in cellophane. Please show your support for suppliers who if it is deemed necessary at all, at least use recyclable materials only for packaging. I would urge the customer to search out small local farm shops where you can bring home your veg in a compostable paper bag.

Why is this important?

Our beautiful planet is being choked in waste detritus from human beings. It is constantly in the press about this and that hugely expensive way we could dispose of it.

Surely the answer is to not produce it!

Supermarket packaging appears to continue to increase to the stage where you can buy hardly any fruit or veg in particular without it being unnecessarily packaged in some way. I think we should boycott such food and give the mighty supermarkets the message.
