Strengthen the Ban on Bee Killing Inseticide
We the undersigned wish to put a formal complaint about your lifting the banned use of thiamethoxam insecticide to be used on the sugar beet crop.
the lifting of this ban not only goes against promises made regarding the bee population of this country but also gives succour to the
chemical industry and takes away their need to develop a pesticide which is more targeting.
If the ban continues to be lifted then a replacement pesticide will never be produced. We request that you enforce the ban and put pressure on the manufactures to produce a replacement for thiamethoxam.

Why is this important?
We have already lost a third of the bee population in this country, there are many crops that rely on pollinators and not only commercially grown crops but also in gardens and allotments across the Nation.
Even a very small amount of this insecticide getting into wildflowers can cause devastation to the bee population
