Studley and Derry Hill A4 speed reduction.

To reduce the speed limit of the A4 road between Pewsham, Chippenham and Black Dog Hill, Calne from 60mph to 40mph.

Why is this important?

The speed of the traffic on this stretch of road has caused many injuries and a good number of deaths over the years making life along the road both dangerous and noisy for the residents.
