I call upon all Labour MPs to declare their support for the democratically elected leader of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, or to publicly state that they do not. It is a black and white decision.
Why is this important?
On behalf of the membership, I remind all MPs that Jeremy Corbyn was elected by the majority of the members of the Labour Party. Therefore you have a duty to support him. To undermine him is a treacherous act. The fact is that the world has changed and people want a return to Labour's core values.
Offering nothing more than Tory-lite is what lost the last election. To stage a coup in an effort to return to right-wing policies is not what the membership wants. Your negative actions only risk splitting the party, with many having to follow their convictions and leave. You should be aware that we, the Corbyn supporters, are going nowhere.
We will not support an unelected leader.
