Suspend arms sales to the Israeli government
Suspend arms sales and arms export licences to the Israeli Government until they let aid into Gaza and respect international law.
Why is this important?
Innocent civilians in Gaza are dying every day. The humanitarian situation is catastrophic. For months, aid has been blocked leading to a hunger crisis that is claiming lives, especially those of children.
Despite this, the UK continues to sell arms to the Israeli Government. Foreign Secretary David Lammy, has suspended around 30 arms export licences to Israel. However, this is not a full ban, and many more licenses remain active.
Pressure is mounting on Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the Government to take a stronger stance and do more.
A huge petition signed by all of us could be all that is needed to suspend all arms sales to the Israeli Government until they let aid into Gaza and respect international law.
