To: Reduce Lords' pay
The Lords can fix the NHS
If the Lords were given £100 a day (which is still more than they say a person needs for a week). The balance of £200 per lord per day could be paid to the NHS...raising at least one million pounds a week.
Why is this important?
The Lords are not poor people who rely on their daily fee. It is outrageous to tell people on benefits they only need around 75 per week yet the Lords receive £300 per day. This is patently wrong. I'm sure the public would rather give that 48 million a year to nurses rather than the Lords.
