The UK demands a General Election in 2016

The people of the UK deserve and require the opportunity to choose a new democratically-elected government following the seismic shifts in Britain and its EU Referendum decision to leave the European Union.

Why is this important?

At such a pivotal moment in history the UK electorate needs to give its sovereign authority to a new government to chart our future course during Brexit negotiations.

David Cameron has announced his intention to step down as Prime Minister by the Conservative Party conference in October. Whatever the outcome in this internal process of selecting a new leader, this person, and their colleagues, will be significantly different from the Conservative Party that was elected last year.
