Theme Parks to be Grandparent Friendly
Many theme parks have specific areas/zones which are targeted at very small children - examples are are ‘Thomas’ and ‘Peppa Pig’ lands. These appeal to grandparents as a place to take their grandchildren. Unfortunately, access to these areas requires a full-access ticket, allowing said grandparents access to every ride in the park, which, realistically, they are not going to ride.
I want these parks to allow grandparents and their grandchildren access to just these areas via special tickets, which doesn’t allow access to rides in the main section(s) of the parks. Something as simple as no, or a different colour, wristband would suffice to indicate to staff that this is the case.

Why is this important?
Requiring grandparents to purchase a full-access ticket they will not / cannot use is discriminatory, and actually turns potential customers away. Allowing grandparents and their grandchildren access to the park at a reduced entry price is an incentive to attend; and those people will still visit shops, food and beverage outlets, thus spending money in the park in exactly the same manner as full-price ticket holders.
How it will be delivered
A letter and/or email will be sent to Management at all known Theme Parks who provide ‘toddler’ or young-children specific areas, notifying them of the campaign. National Press and TV will also be notified.
