THOUSANDS RENDERED HOMELESS BY THE INHUMANE ACTIONS OF THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT

Dear Foreign Secretary,
Please help us to appeal to the Nigerian Government to stop one of their governors, IBIKUNLE AMOSUN, from demolishing residential properties, without re-housing the residents and paying compensation to the landlords.

The Yakoyo community are in support of his road expansion program, but they first need to be adequately compensated, and re-housed, before this program can commence.

Thousands of people have already had their properties bulldozed, with AMOSUN planning to dislodge more innocent people from their homes.

Why is this important?

Thousands of Elderly people, children, and women, are now at risk; homeless in a city with a high rate of crime. This is a matter of life or death, and your intervention will help us to keep thousands of people safe in their homes.

This demolition is about to get worse as IBIKUNLE AMOSUN have marked further properties for demolition without any agreed compensation.

How it will be delivered

I will deliver the signatures in person.
