We Call for the Resignation of Sir Keir Starmer due to his Inhumane Comments
We call upon all advocates of human rights to join us in calling for Sir Keir Starmer’s resignation from his position as Leader of the Labour Party immediately.
Why is this important?
As loyal supporters of the Labour party, my family and I have been left deeply disturbed by recent comments made by the party's leader, Sir Keir Starmer. It is with heavy hearts that we learned that during a Leading Britain's Conversation (LBC) interview on 11th October 2023 Sir Keir Starmer has supported the Israel government’s action of cutting off life essential necessities to the population of Gaza, Palestine amidst the current humanitarian crisis (As per the video link below). Such an action has been deemed a violation of international humanitarian law.
We have always believed in Labour's commitment to human rights. However, these values are compromised under Sir Keir Starmer's leadership. His stance on this issue violates basic human rights norms.
We cannot stand by a leader who endorses such inhumane actions. For us to continue supporting the Labour party, we need a leader who respects human rights and upholds international humanitarian law.
We call upon all advocates of human rights to join us in calling for Sir Keir Starmer’s resignation from his position as Leader of the Labour Party immediately.
