Whole of Ponteland must stay in Hexham Constituency.

Prevent the proposed Boundary Commission from splitting Ponteland East Ward and absorbing it into NW Newcastle.

Why is this important?

This proposal would effectively split a Community. We are a rural area and it makes no sense to attach the East Ward to an urban area.
We have a hard-working MP, Guy Opperman, who understands rural affairs.
This would adversely affect our infrastructure, our social affairs and the education of our children.
