To: Exmoor national park

Zero parking meters, National Parks

We ask the national parks to share information widely and in good time, 21 days is insufficient time, notice papers on location are inadequate and outdated forms of media. We oppose parking machines in our national parks, we support the parks with donations, fundraising and volunteering. Keep rural parking stress free

Why is this important?

We, the people say no - to forced parking fees since we believe that Exmoor is one of the last rural beauty spots that does not impose parking fees. We want to make a difference and support positive mental health
We foster a positive forward thinking attitude that prioritises the needs of our community and it’s visitors that In turn enrich and support the beauty and diverse nature of Exmoor and it’s inhabitants
We ask the authorities support our independent businesses by not imposing parking meters that ward visitors away

We have families who visit our national parks
We support families with young children who need outdoor spaces to feel free amidst a world of technology

As individuals we support the national parks - we volunteer and litter pick
We welcome a visible sign pointing out the honesty box

We ask to be involved in future changes via social media, our opinions are important

Exmoor is a safe haven from parking machines, time is not pressurised - let’s keep it that way
National park - thank you

How it will be delivered
