Keep Belper COVID secure - postpone the “Fun” Fair
Dear Belper Town Council,
With rising COVID cases and an extension of restrictions, the “Fun” Fair, scheduled from the 1st - 3rd July should be postponed.
Lots of people in the community have been shielding for months, people have worked and volunteered, giving up countless hours at hospitals and vaccine clinics to help control the disease.
The decision to run the Fair on these dates is inappropriate, unsafe and insulting.
Please postpone the Fair until such time as it is safe to go ahead.
