Ban debt collection agencies.

To stop companies selling off debts at a fraction of the debt claiming the remainder of the debt from insurance companies. The debt collection agencies having bought the debt then chase the impoverished for the full amount. The debtor should be given the opportunity to pay back the amount that the debt collection agencies buy the debt for. This system ruins lives and causes many suicides. The debt collection agencies are wrecking lives and keeping people in real poverty. If the government wants to assist people out of poverty and reduce mental health problems such as anxiety and depression this usuary should be outlawed.

Why is this important?

To reduce poverty. To give the poor the opportunity to repay what they can afford. To reduce stress anxiety and depression. To stop legalised bullying and intimidation.
