Change school summer holiday to 4 weeks
I want them to change the summer holidays to 4 weeks but keep the extra 2 weeks for parents to be able to take their kids out of school in term time. This would then stop schools sending out fines to parents and young children struggle with the 6 week holiday. Children need to be kept occupied all the time and it gets very expensive doing day trips.
Why is this important?
Because young children don't understand why they have so long off from school and because not all parents are able to spend huge amounts of money on days out, most parents work and it costs a fortune for childcare during the 6 weeks.
