Define Ecocide and make it an imprisonable crime
Our government has recognised climate change as the greatest danger that we face. It is now time for an all party committee to recognise the word Ecocide, and give it a broad definition in regard to environmental damage, pollution, destruction of the natural environment caused either wilfully or through neglect.
And issue a tariff of punishments from financial to imprisonment for perpetrators of such damage, to include Directors of a corporate entity.

Why is this important?
We are running out of time to avoid runaway climate change, it is now time to stop the rhetoric and incorporate Ecocide into uk law in order to incentivise people to act more responsibly.
