Don't cut vital support for disabled people in Orkney and Shetland

Oppose the planned cuts to Personal Independence Payments.
Disabled people, like myself, depend on disability money to ' HAVE QUALITY OF LIFE.'

Why is this important?

George Osborne has announced plans to take £70 a week away from thousands of people with disabilities, by cutting Personal Independence Payments (PIP). For many of us, this will mean losing the crucial support which enables us to get out of the house.

Many people in our area would be hit hard by this cut. 'QUALITY OF LIFE' for disabled people is why, the change-over from DLA TO PIP, should not be just another way of the government being able to change the amount of money given to disabled people. To take from the poor to give to the rich, once again, history repeating its self. I personally wouldn't be able to afford the two nights out a month to the theatre or just to meet friends, because of the £70 pounds a week taken from my disability. The future looks bleak from where I'm sitting.
This petition calls on our

local MP to do all they can to stop this cruel and unfair plan.

Please, show your support for local people with disabilities and help stop the cuts to PIP.
