EU Referendum Votes for 16 and 17 Year Olds

Allow 16 and 17 year old to be able to vote in the EU referendum on the 23rd June 2016.

Why is this important?

It's important as the decision and outcome that is created will have a greater effect on younger people. Scotland allowed 16 and 17 year olds to vote in the Scottish Referendum, which what's the difference between that and this vote? Why shouldn't the people who are going to be affected have no say in the decision?
