Fix the Chanterlands Ave Railway Bridge
To honor the undertakings made to the representatives of the Chanterlands Ave Community by Network Rail executives. These undertakings were to carry out a structural survey, fix the drainage issues that create slime and discoloration on the walls of the walkways under the bridge and a general repair and decoration of the bridge.
Why is this important?
The bridge is in a poor state and urgently needs work. Representatives met with local people and promised to do something six months ago. Until Network Rail have completed their work , the damage done to the heritage tiles, railings and lighting cannot be fixed.
The walls are coated in slime and it is on a busy school and shopping route. It is ugly and unhealthy.
