To encourage an appeal outcome that reverses the threat of a custodial sentence for the #HEATHROW13 Plane Stupid environmental activists &/or support a downgrade of the sentence to non-custodial.
Why is this important?
The signatories of this petition regard peaceful, direct action as a political right & believe that poeple are entitled to non-violent political protest, as inferred by rights under Article 19 & Article 20 [1] of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights:

Offer the petition to the Plane Stupid organisation to use as evidence of public interest & concern about the over zealous judgement on the #HEATHROW13, either through a press conference, or personal or electronic delivery to No. 10 Downing Street &/or the office of the Home Secretary.
