Labour MPs voting in favour of Fiscal Charter

We, the undersigned, believe that the failure of 21 Labour MPs to vote against the Tories Fiscal Charter demonstrates that they do not uphold Labour Party values. We do not believe that the Fiscal Charter is in the best interests of the electorate and that their actions do not represent the views of the constituents that they represent. We call for Jeremy Corbyn, Labour Party Leader, to take robust action against these MPs and Members of the Shadow Cabinet.

Why is this important?

In this time of austerity, cuts and financial difficulty for some of the poorest in society, we need a strong opposition to Tory policies. A minority of Labour MPs cannot be allowed to divide the party on such important votes which will affect millions of people.
