To: Hull and East Yorkshire Councils

Mayor for Hull and East Yorkshire

Following the appointment of an interim mayor in Greater Manchester, we call for a similar mayor in Hull and East Yorkshire to allow devolution of power to a local level in this region.

Why is this important?

Decisions should be made at a local level, close to the people they affect. The people of Hull and East Yorkshire should be able to influence policy on health, policing, and transport.
