Allergens on food labelling are highlighted using a different font, style or background colour and listed in the ingredients. Palm oil or palm oil products should also be highlighted in the same way to make it easier for consumers to spot this item and to allow them freedom of choice on whether to buy the item or not.

Why is this important?

The production of unsustainable palm oil is causing severe environmental damage around the world.
