Prevent Cement Batching at Alltgoch Quarry, Cwrtnewydd

Cement batching can cause harmful emissions. Whilst we understand that every effort is being made to reduce the risk, the plant is extremely close to the village of Cwrtnewydd and an error could easily lead to the harmful emissions entering the air.
Not only that, the lorries travelling to the quarry are already causing a hazard on the narrow lanes, therefore adding to that traffic will exacerbate the situation.
