Protect Cash ISAs

After months of speculation, in last week's Budget Rachel Reeves opted to cut the tax-free allowance for Cash ISAs from £20,000 to £12,000.
We’re disappointed the Chancellor opted to listen to lobbyists over the electorate however, the initial proposal was to drop the allowance all the way down to £4,000, and an exemption was also made for over 65s, so while this may not be the result we hoped for, it's a clear sign of impact.

A win on Cash ISAs! ...for now.
Chancellor Rachel Reeves hit the brakes on plans to slash the tax-free cap on Cash ISAs in her Mansion House speech last night - a fantastic example of people power in action - but she didn't rule out reforms completely, so please keep sharing the petition to help keep up the pressure!
