Reduce the speed limit on the stretch of road from Knowle near Braunton to Mullacott Cross, Ilfracombe (A361) and/or install speed cameras in the area.
Why is this important?
This petition is to lower the speed limit from 60mph in this particular area and/or to install speed cameras. The stretch of road on the A361 from Knowle to Mullacott Cross has been the place of too many accidents and near misses for too long! Over the past 2 years there has been a fatality, countless accidents and in the last month alone there have been 3 serious accidents involving multiple vehicles, one of which needing assistance from the Devon Air Ambulance. We need to do what we can to make this stretch of road as safe as possible from now on! Please sign! You can make a difference!
