Refugees Welcome in Keswick
Offer to home 10 refugee families in our town.
Why is this important?
It's not enough to shake our heads and feel sorry for those living under threat from the brutality of Islamic State and the Syrian government. It would be great if the UK could help bring about peace in Syria, but in the meantime families need somewhere to keep their children safe.
Keswick is a town where many people come to enjoy the stunning natural beauty. Let's welcome a few more who just desperately need somewhere they can live in peace.
Let's show our Government that we, the people of the UK, are proud to do our part and provide refuge to people in their hour of need.
