Why is this important?
Recent announcements have brought to an end live overnight broadcasting on Radio 2. This is a slap in the face to the 24 hour a day society who listen into Radio 2 through out the night. The statement from Radio 2 is disingenuous and treats the listener as a child. Quite simply we want the decision reversed and live broadcasting of the After Midnight Strand reinstated
The BBC is supposed to BROADCAST to the nation and this is a retreat from this position, the listener has not been consulted and this is being presented as an improvement....
