"There is no substitute for seeing films live, in a cinema, with an audience. " (Jonathan Romney, The Guardian)
Thank you all for signing our petition. Your love for Curzon Soho (and cinema & culture) is a joy to behold. We’re now very close to our goal - with your help we can smash it!
You’ve probably read Jonathan Romney's great write-up of our campaign on yesterday's Guardian. If not, please find it here: http://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/apr/17/fight-to-save-curzon-soho-cinema-landmark-london
Do join us at the next events coming up to support the campaign:
Tuesday 3 May: special screening of Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures, plus panel discussion about the impact of urban development on Soho's LGBTQI community.
Friday 6 May: a fantastic late-night Save Curzon Soho party courtesy of Midnight Movies with The Blues Brothers. There will be a DJ, prizes for the best costumes, special themed cocktails, and even a performance from the London City Voices Choir!
