As the country are suffering from future power issues, I would like the newly elected government to change the law a,s,a,p on modern new built homes / properties to include solar paneled roofs, for that property to be if possible, self sufficient or as close to. Also for the government to eliminate any tax duty (VAT / Import taxes) on solar panels, for current house owners to improve current houses with this benefit also.
Why is this important?
With such plans, long term energy payback will be reduced to businesses and home owners, excess energy, can be shared by all in the U.K with reduced energy bills for all..
