Solidarity with Nottinghamshire homeless
Take down the offence advertisements claiming that all homeless people are drug abusers. We would like the police and council to help rather than demonising vulnerable people who relay on the kindness of the public.
Why is this important?
Nottinghamshire council and the police should be offering practical and emotional support to the most vulnerable to help get them back on their feet. Even if someone does have an addiction they should still be given 100 % support as it is an illness and should be treated as such, getting them the right help needed rather than isolating them further.
