Stop Big Business turning Valued Pubs into local shops

Someone in Government decided there ought to be an arbitrary limit on the number of pubs that a brewery should own. This forced breweries to sell their less profitable pubs, resulting in Big Businesses such as New River Retail buying many, with the intention of turning most into local shops. This arbitrary limit on pubs owned by breweries should be repealed.

Why is this important?

Nice Old Pubs were built where people meet and socialise. This happens to a much lesser extent in shops. Once a Pub is gone another is unlikely to be built in the local area, so destroying the community spirit.
