STOP BULLYING AT THE CORSHAM SCHOOL.
We the undersigned wish for bullying to be stopped full stop at The Corsham School, The Tynnings, Corsham Wiltshire.
We would like all staff to be trained properly in the dealing with any bullying situations.
Staff need to listen and understand the victim and their needs far better.
Staff need to make sure the victim is safe, not just by sending the victim home. The perpetrator should be removed from the situation if required.
Staff need to be trained from front of house reception, who are the first point of contact for the parent or carer. They must know who to call. Parents dont want to be told to come back later.
Somone should be able to deal with the situation and at the very least take details.
The bully needs to be dealt with properly and persistent offenders need better sanctions as clearly the ones received before did not work. Where necessary remove the child from school.
We wish for the behavioural team to have a major shake up as we have no confidence in their abilities to carry out their duties!

Why is this important?
Our children / Grandchildren, our next generation are placed in your safety whilst at the school.
They should not feel scared to have an education they deserve.
They should not feel like the bully has more rights than them.
Children have a right to and education. It is our basic human right in this country.
Bullying in the school is affecting some children so badly they are having time off school because of this. We believe if our children are unable to attend school due to bullying there is a breach in human rights.
