Stop the Anaerobic plant in Seacombe

Wirral borough council have given the green light for an anaerobic processing plant to be built within a few hundred metres of a residential area. We have already petitioned the council but they ignored the petition and went ahead. There are problems at other plants with the methane gas escaping and stinking out the local areas. I live in the area nearest the plant and we don't want it there. There is already a sewerage treatment plant in the area , which stinks in the summer. We don't need any more smells in our area.

Why is this important?

This is important for the fact that the local council has ridden roughshod over our wishes and concerns of the local residents. It may be a run down area in some peoples eyes but we pay our taxes the same as everyone else. We should not be subjected to this because of the greed of the local council. If they want it bad enough, let them build the plant on their doorstep.
