Stop the Co-op throwing away food at the end of everyday

As an ethical company we are shocked and dismayed that you continue to throw food away at the end of the day if it has past its sell by date. We demand that you stop this practice immediately, and the food is given to local charities. That when this is not possible, staff are allowed to take it home or give it to customers, without being charged for theft. It is ridiculous to charge someonew for theft for something which will be thrown away
