Stop ticket touts depriving real fans of tickets

Stop ticket touts depriving real fans of tickets

Stop ticket touts and ticket reseller websites from buying up on-mass tickets for music and events immediately on release, then immediately re-listing at exorbitant inflated prices.

Why is this important?

This deprives genuine fans of attending their chosen event without paying vastly inflated prices, whilst offering nothing to society other than disappointment, stress and frustration.

Reasons for signing

  • If I bought 50 tickets and sold them for 2-3 times the price never mind 10- 20 I would be prosecuted why should these companies get away with it
  • The "resale" websites are also owned by the same people that sell it originally so they're profiteering twice on each sale, it's legalised touting.
  • Resale sites are such a problem, real fans are missing out. Should be illegal to resell a ticker for more than face value + 10%.
