Support housing development in Esh Winning

We are asking the community to join together to support plans to build 66 new dwellings on the outskirts of the village.

Why is this important?

In villages and rural communities across the country the traditional pub, post office and local banks are closing their doors. Young families have left for towns and cities because they aren't able to find homes in the village they grew up in. Housing developments within the village will make it thrive and by providing affordable housing will enable future generations to stay in the village.

This housing site could bring work for numerous tradesmen and small businesses which our community relies on.

This private land is currently used for grazing which could be transformed into a lovely community with a rural feel and public walkways leading to the Deerness Valley.

The houses would range from bungalows to detached properties and cater for all age groups.

If given the go ahead this development would provide extra funds to the council which would then be regenerated into the village.

We hope you feel the same about the future of our village!
