Traffic Petition

The Community of Ardersier want the said companies to acknowledge our historical village is not built to cope with the daily HGV or LGV use they are planning to use during and after construction of their proposed New Waste Water Treatment Plant on Ardersier Common. It is imperative that the developers Moray Estates and Scottish Water now research alternative sites and move this new plant to another location which is low impact on environment and community. It must be moved to preserve Ardersier village and protect its historical importance.

Why is this important?

If these companies are allowed to follow through with these proposals then the entire way of life of the residents of Ardersier will change for ever. The high level and type of vehicle they want to use before and after construction will damage not only the roads but the 200 year old properties which are along this route. These properties need to be preserved not destroyed. Help us stop these companies from destroying our historical village.
