Excessive vehicle speeds around Lyndhurst

To allow the Parish Council to put up permanent Speed Indicators Devices, to remind them to slow down, on
Potentially dangerous roads around Lyndhurst where the speed limit should be 30mph especially on Gosport Lane,Chapel Lane, Goose Green, Southampton Road, Romsey Road and The High street by the Infant School

For the authorities to put more pedestrian crossings OR to put speed cameras at these hot spots

Why is this important?

These roads are constantly used by both vehicles and pedestrians and cyclists.
Most drivers drive at a very high speed along these roads which the Parish Council feels could have a serious or fatal consequences
There have been 2 fatalities in 2014
After many failed attempts to persuade the authorities to act and assist Lyndhurst Parish Council, we feel it's time to ask the public to support our cause to prevent anymore injuries or fatalities.
