WASPI. Redress the injustice of pension denial.

Reconsider the latest decision to deny women born in the early 50's their due state pension.

Why is this important?

Hundreds of thousands of women have worked hard, planned and saved toward their pension. Some years back, they were told to wait an extra few years. They bit that bullet, but now, for some, just a few months before finally getting THEIR money back, they are told to wait another 2 or more years. No reasons, no apology, no letter even. It's UNACCEPTABLE.

Reasons for signing

  • The same as all previous comments, however, since they have just announced yet another age hike, I think it's highly unlikely we will get justice. My State Pension will be the first State benefit I've ever had, and now I have to wait another six plus years. Sack Theresa May and her cronies
  • Women of a certain age had a longstanding agreement altered by the government with little notice causing great distress and sudden rearrangement of what had been permanent plans of security in retirement. An extra 6 years work was suddenly introduced for some! This is at best insensitive and devisive but in reality cruel. Reneging so fundamentally on an agreement at such a late stage is devisive and has had a dramatic effect on some Women's lives
  • Because this is about justice and fairness for women born in the 1950's. It's about NOT being told that your pension has been put back another two years. Retirement plans have to be put on hold while women who have paid their National Insurance contributions are denied what is rightfully theirs-The State Pension! We have lost thousands of pounds without any consideration. We will not stand for this injustice!!!
