Zero alcohol limit for new and professional drivers
Reduce the drink drive limit to zero for drivers who:
a) only have a provisional license or have passed their driving test within the past 2 years.
b) are driving any public service vehicle (including taxis)
c) are driving any vehicle with a gross weight of over 3 tons

Why is this important?
Inexperienced drivers are more likely to have a road accident, so remove the possibility of further impediment through drink.
Heavier vehicles inflict more damage in a collision, so the driver should not have any impediment through alcohol.
When the public put their lives in the hands of a stranger who is driving, they shouldn't be impaired in any way.
