1st Somali Centre owned by the community

We have been living in London for over 20 years and we do not have a Somali Centre to deal with community matters effectively. We have been labelled as hard to reach community and isolated. We should do something about this and change this perception. I was made redunadant in 2015 from local government, I have 16 years continuous service. I feel it's important to take part in changing your community and here I am asking for your help so get involved in shaping your community.

Why is this important?

Is to benefit the community, be the voice, act on behalf, represent and provide seemeless services tailored to individuals or families. What we need to do is to buy community asset that belongs to the Somali community in order to leave a legacy. We will achieve this target throughout our "Together, We Are Stronger" campaign. We will register 7 thousand members in 7 different boroughs in West London. Let us be more productive citizen and show the rest of the world that as a community are self sufficient and we don't rely on funds. This is a community invest and initiative campaign. Please sign and share this campaign with your friends. We need to know that "enough is enough" it's important to have our "own" community centre. Do you agree?
